सगुनोपासक मोच्छ न लेहीं। तिन्ह कहुँ राम भगति निज देहीं॥
बार बार करि प्रभुहि प्रनामा। दसरथ हरषि गए सुरधामा॥4॥
Devotees who worship the manifest, embodied form of God do not seek or attain liberation, instead, Shri Ram grants them His own divine devotion as their eternal reward. After bowing repeatedly before Lord Ram with loving reverence, Dashrath ji, filled with joy, departed to his celestial abode in Heaven.
(मायारहित सच्चिदानंदमय स्वरूपभूत दिव्यगुणयुक्त) सगुण स्वरूप की उपासना करने वाले भक्त इस प्रकार मोक्ष लेते भी नहीं। उनको श्रीरामजी अपनी भक्ति देते हैं। प्रभु को (इष्टबुद्धि से) बार-बार प्रणाम करके दशरथजी हर्षित होकर देवलोक को चले गए॥4॥

सोभा देखि हरषि मन अस्तुति कर सुर ईस॥112॥

छोटे भाई लक्ष्मणजी और जानकीजी सहित परम कुशल प्रभु श्रीकोसलाधीश की शोभा देखकर देवराज इंद्र मन में हर्षित होकर स्तुति करने लगे- ॥112॥

जय हरन धरनी भार। महिमा उदार अपार॥
जय रावनारि कृपाल। किए जातुधान बिहाल॥3॥

हे भूमि का भार हरने वाले! हे अपार श्रेष्ठ महिमावाले! आपकी जय हो। हे रावण के शत्रु! हे कृपालु! आपकी जय हो। आपने राक्षसों को बेहाल (तहस-नहस) कर दिया॥3॥
लंकेस अति बल गर्ब। किए बस्य सुर गंधर्ब॥
मुनि सिद्ध नर खग नाग। हठि पंथ सब कें लाग॥4॥

लंकापति रावण को अपने बल का बहुत घमंड था। उसने देवता और गंधर्व सभी को अपने वश में कर लिया था और वह मुनि, सिद्ध, मनुष्य, पक्षी और नाग आदि सभी के हठपूर्वक (हाथ धोकर) पीछे पड़ गया था॥4॥
परद्रोह रत अति दुष्ट। पायो सो फलु पापिष्ट॥
अब सुनहु दीन दयाल। राजीव नयन बिसाल॥5॥

वह दूसरों से द्रोह करने में तत्पर और अत्यंत दुष्ट था। उस पापी ने वैसा ही फल पाया। अब हे दीनों पर दया करने वाले! हे कमल के समान विशाल नेत्रों वाले! सुनिए॥5॥
मोहि रहा अति अभिमान। नहिं कोउ मोहि समान॥
अब देखि प्रभु पद कंज। गत मान प्रद दुख पुंज॥6॥
…I was consumed by pride and regarded no one as my equal, but upon beholding Your lotus feet, all my ego, the source of countless sorrows, has completely vanished…
मुझे अत्यंत अभिमान था कि मेरे समान कोई नहीं है, पर अब प्रभु (आप) के चरण कमलों के दर्शन करने से दु:ख समूह का देने वाला मेरा वह अभिमान जाता रहा॥6॥
कोउ ब्रह्म निर्गुन ध्याव। अब्यक्त जेहि श्रुति गाव॥
मोहि भाव कोसल भूप। श्रीराम सगुन सरूप॥7॥

कोई उन निर्गुन ब्रह्म का ध्यान करते हैं जिन्हें वेद अव्यक्त (निराकार) कहते हैं। परंतु हे रामजी! मुझे तो आपका यह सगुण कोसलराज-स्वरूप ही प्रिय लगता है॥7॥
बैदेहि अनुज समेत। मम हृदयँ करहु निकेत॥
मोहि जानिऐ निज दास। दे भक्ति रमानिवास॥8॥

श्रीजानकीजी और छोटे भाई लक्ष्मणजी सहित मेरे हृदय में अपना घर बनाइए। हे रमानिवास! मुझे अपना दास समझिए और अपनी भक्ति दीजिए॥8॥

सुख धाम राम नमामि काम अनेक छबि रघुनायकं॥
सुर बृंद रंजन द्वंद भंजन मनुजतनु अतुलितबलं।
ब्रह्मादि संकर सेब्य राम नमामि करुना कोमलं॥

हे रमानिवास! हे शरणागत के भय को हरने वाले और उसे सब प्रकार का सुख देने वाले! मुझे अपनी भक्ति दीजिए। हे सुख के धाम! हे अनेकों कामदेवों की छबिवाले रघुकुल के स्वामी श्रीरामचंद्रजी! मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ। हे देवसमूह को आनंद देने वाले, (जन्म-मृत्यु, हर्ष-विषाद, सुख-दु:ख आदि) द्वंद्वों के नाश करने वाले, मनुष्य शरीरधारी, अतुलनीय बलवाले, ब्रह्मा और शिव आदि से सेवनीय, करुणा से कोमल श्रीरामजी! मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ।

काह करौं सुनि प्रिय बचन बोले दीनदयाल॥113॥

हे कृपालु! अब मेरी ओर कृपा करके (कृपा दृष्टि से) देखकर आज्ञा दीजिए कि मैं क्या (सेवा) करूँ! इंद्र के ये प्रिय वचन सुनकर दीनदयालु श्रीरामजी बोले॥113॥
सुन सुरपति कपि भालु हमारे। परे भूमि निसिचरन्हि जे मारे॥
मम हित लागि तजे इन्ह प्राना। सकल जिआउ सुरेस सुजाना॥1॥
…“Listen, O’ King of the Demigods, my monkeys and bears who were slain by the demons now lie lifeless on the battlefield. They gave their lives for my sake. O’ Wise Suresh, King of the Demigods, restore them all to life.”
हे देवराज! सुनो, हमारे वानर-भालू, जिन्हें निशाचरों ने मार डाला है, पृथ्वी पर पड़े हैं। इन्होंने मेरे हित के लिए अपने प्राण त्याग दिए। हे सुजान देवराज! इन सबको जिला दो॥1॥
सुनु खगेस प्रभु कै यह बानी। अति अगाध जानहिं मुनि ग्यानी॥
प्रभु सक त्रिभुअन मारि जिआई। केवल सक्रहि दीन्हि बड़ाई॥2॥
Kak Bhushundi ji said to Garud ji, “O’ King of Birds, the Lord’s words are supremely mysterious and can be truly understood only by realized Sages. He has the power to dissolve and restore the inhabitants of all three spheres of the Cosmos at will, and by making this request, He was merely bestowing honour upon the Demigod Indra.”
(काकभुशुण्डिजी कहते हैं -) हे गरुड़! सुनिए प्रभु के ये वचन अत्यंत गहन (गूढ़) हैं। ज्ञानी मुनि ही इन्हें जान सकते हैं। प्रभु श्रीरामजी त्रिलोकी को मारकर जिला सकते हैं। यहाँ तो उन्होंने केवल इंद्र को बड़ाई दी है॥2॥
सुधा बरषि कपि भालु जियाए। हरषि उठे सब प्रभु पहिं आए॥
सुधाबृष्टि भै दुहु दल ऊपर। जिए भालु कपि नहिं रजनीचर॥3॥
By sprinkling the nectar, Indra restored the bears and monkeys to life. They all rose up joyfully and went to the Lord. The nectar fell upon the fallen soldiers of both armies, yet only the monkeys and bears revived, while the demons remained lifeless.
इंद्र ने अमृत बरसाकर वानर-भालुओं को जिला दिया। सब हर्षित होकर उठे और प्रभु के पास आए। अमृत की वर्षा दोनों ही दलों पर हुई। पर रीछ-वानर ही जीवित हुए, राक्षस नहीं॥3॥
रामाकार भए तिन्ह के मन। मुक्त भए छूट भव बंधन॥
सुर अंसिक सब कपि अरु रीछा। जिए सकल रघुपति कीं ईछा॥4॥
This was because, at the moment of death, the demons’ hearts were absorbed in the thought of Lord Ram, and thus they attained liberation, ending the cycle of repeated birth and death, whereas the monkeys and bears were manifestations of the Demigods, who are inherently immortal, and therefore, by the will of Shri Raghupati, they all returned to life.
क्योंकि राक्षस के मन तो मरते समय रामाकार हो गए थे। अत: वे मुक्त हो गए, उनके भवबंधन छूट गए। किंतु वानर और भालू तो सब देवांश (भगवान् की लीला के परिकर) थे। इसलिए वे सब श्रीरघुनाथजी की इच्छा से जीवित हो गए॥4॥
राम सरिस को दीन हितकारी। कीन्हे मुकुत निसाचर झारी॥
खल मल धाम काम रत रावन। गति पाई जो मुनिबर पाव न॥5॥
There is none as compassionate toward the pitiable as Shri Ram. He granted liberation to the entire demon army, and even the wicked Ravan, an embodiment of sin and lust, attained an exalted state that even the most accomplished Sages find difficult to achieve.
श्रीरामचंद्रजी के समान दीनों का हित करने वाला कौन है? जिन्होंने सारे राक्षसों को मुक्त कर दिया! दुष्ट, पापों के घर और कामी रावण ने भी वह गति पाई जिसे श्रेष्ठ मुनि भी नहीं पाते॥5॥

* सुमन बरषि सब सुर चले चढ़ि चढ़ि रुचिर बिमान।
देखि सुअवसर प्रभु पहिं आयउ संभु सुजान॥114 क॥
After showering flowers, the Demigods mounted their splendid aerial vehicles and departed. Seeing this as an auspicious moment, the all-wise Lord Shambu approached Shri Ram.
फूलों की वर्षा करके सब देवता सुंदर विमानों पर चढ़-चढ़कर चले। तब सुअवसर जानकार सुजान शिवजी प्रभु श्रीरामचंद्रजी के पास आए- ॥114 क॥
परम प्रीति कर जोरि जुग नलिन नयन भरि बारि।
पुलकित तन गदगद गिराँ बिनय करत त्रिपुरारि॥114 ख॥

और परम प्रेम से दोनों हाथ जोड़कर, कमल के समान नेत्रों में जल भरकर, पुलकित शरीर और गद्गद् वाणी से त्रिपुरारी शिवजी विनती करने लगे – ॥114 ख॥

* मामभिरक्षय रघुकुल नायक। धृत बर चाप रुचिर कर सायक॥
मोह महा घन पटल प्रभंजन। संसय बिपिन अनल सुर रंजन॥1॥

हे रघुकुल के स्वामी! सुंदर हाथों में श्रेष्ठ धनुष और सुंदर बाण धारण किए हुए आप मेरी रक्षा कीजिए। आप महामोहरूपी मेघसमूह के (उड़ाने के) लिए प्रचंड पवन हैं, संशयरूपी वन के (भस्म करने के) लिए अग्नि हैं और देवताओं को आनंद देने वाले हैं॥1॥
अगुन सगुन गुन मंदिर सुंदर। भ्रम तम प्रबल प्रताप दिवाकर॥
काम क्रोध मद गज पंचानन। बसहु निरंतर जन मन कानन॥2॥
…You are free from material qualities and yet the treasure-house of divine attributes, an abode of virtues and supremely handsome. You are the blazing midday Sun that dispels the darkness of delusion, the lion who destroys the elephants of desire, anger, and false pride, and You ever dwell in the forest of Your devotees’ hearts…
आप निर्गुण, सगुण, दिव्य गुणों के धाम और परम सुंदर हैं। भ्रमरूपी अंधकार के (नाश के) लिए प्रबल प्रतापी सूर्य हैं। काम, क्रोध और मदरूपी हाथियों के (वध के) लिए सिंह के समान आप इस सेवक के मनरूपी वन में निरंतर वास कीजिए॥2॥
बिषय मनोरथ पुंज कुंज बन। प्रबल तुषार उदार पार मन॥
भव बारिधि मंदर परमं दर। बारय तारय संसृति दुस्तर॥3॥
…You are the piercing frost that destroys the forest of lotuses in the form of material desires. You are supremely generous and beyond the grasp of the mind. To churn the ocean of mundane existence, You stand as Mount Mandarachal itself. Remove my deepest fear, O’ Lord, and help me cross this vast and formidable ocean of worldly bondage…
विषयकामनाओं के समूह रूपी कमलवन के (नाश के) लिए आप प्रबल पाला हैं, आप उदार और मन से परे हैं। भवसागर (को मथने) के लिए आप मंदराचल पर्वत हैं। आप हमारे परम भय को दूर कीजिए और हमें दुस्तर संसार सागर से पार कीजिए॥3॥
स्याम गात राजीव बिलोचन। दीन बंधु प्रनतारति मोचन॥
अनुज जानकी सहित निरंतर। बसहु राम नृप मम उर अंतर॥
मुनि रंजन महि मंडल मंडन। तुलसिदास प्रभु त्रास बिखंडन॥4-5॥

O’ King Ram, along with Your younger brother Shri Lakshman and Sita ji, kindly dwell forever in my heart. You delight the Sages, You are the jewel of the Earth, the Lord of Tulsidas, and the destroyer of all fear…
हे श्यामसुंदर-शरीर! हे कमलनयन! हे दीनबंधु! हे शरणागत को दु:ख से छुड़ाने वाले! हे राजा रामचंद्रजी! आप छोटे भाई लक्ष्मण और जानकीजी सहित निरंतर मेरे हृदय के अंदर निवास कीजिए। आप मुनियों को आनंद देने वाले, पृथ्वीमंडल के भूषण, तुलसीदास के प्रभु और भय का नाश करने वाले हैं॥4-5॥
नाथ जबहिं कोसलपुरीं होइहि तिलक तुम्हार।
कृपासिंधु मैं आउब देखन चरित उदार ॥115॥
…O’ Lord, when Your coronation is held in the city of Ayodhya, I shall come to behold Your gracious deeds, O’ Ocean of mercy.”
हे नाथ! जब अयोध्यापुरी में आपका राजतिलक होगा, तब हे कृपासागर! मैं आपकी उदार लीला देखने आऊँगा ॥115॥
* करि बिनती जब संभु सिधाए। तब प्रभु निकट बिभीषनु आए॥
नाइ चरन सिरु कह मृदु बानी। बिनय सुनहु प्रभु सारँगपानी॥1॥
After offering his humble supplication, Lord Shambu departed. Then Vibhishan approached Lord Ram, bowed his head at the Lord’s feet, and spoke gently, “Please listen to my humble plea, O’ Wielder of the mighty Sharang bow…
जब शिवजी विनती करके चले गए, तब विभीषणजी प्रभु के पास आए और चरणों में सिर नवाकर कोमल वाणी से बोले- हे शार्गं धनुष के धारण करने वाले प्रभो! मेरी विनती सुनिए-॥1॥
सकुल सदल प्रभु रावन मार्यो। पावन जस त्रिभुवन विस्तार्यो॥
दीन मलीन हीन मति जाती। मो पर कृपा कीन्हि बहु भाँती॥2॥
…You have slain Ravan along with his entire clan and army, spreading Your sacred glory across all three spheres of the Cosmos. Though I am pitiable, impure, dull-witted, and lowly by nature, You have showered Your mercy upon me in every way…
आपने कुल और सेना सहित रावण का वध किया, त्रिभुवन में अपना पवित्र यश फैलाया और मुझ दीन, पापी, बुद्धिहीन और जातिहीन पर बहुत प्रकार से कृपा की॥2॥
अब जन गृह पुनीत प्रभु कीजे। मज्जन करिअ समर श्रम छीजे॥
देखि कोस मंदिर संपदा। देहु कृपाल कपिन्ह कहुँ मुदा॥3॥
…Now, O’ Lord, sanctify Your servant’s abode with Your holy presence. Kindly bathe and relieve the fatigue of battle, then inspect the royal treasury, palace, and wealth, and graciously bestow whatever You wish upon the monkeys, O’ Gracious Lord…
अब हे प्रभु! इस दास के घर को पवित्र कीजिए और वहाँ चलकर स्नान कीजिए, जिससे युद्ध की थकावट दूर हो जाए। हे कृपालु! खजाना, महल और सम्पत्ति का निरीक्षण कर प्रसन्नतापूर्वक वानरों को दीजिए॥3॥
सब बिधि नाथ मोहि अपनाइअ। पुनि मोहि सहित अवधपुर जाइअ॥
सुनत बचन मृदु दीनदयाला। सजल भए द्वौ नयन बिसाला॥4॥
…Accept me fully as Your own, O’ Lord, and then proceed to the city of Ayodhya, taking me with You.” Hearing Vibhishan’s humble and courteous words, the merciful Lord’s large, lotus-like eyes filled with tears.
हे नाथ! मुझे सब प्रकार से अपना लीजिए और फिर हे प्रभो! मुझे साथ लेकर अयोध्यापुरी को पधारिए। विभीषणजी के कोमल वचन सुनते ही दीनदयालु प्रभु के दोनों विशाल नेत्रों में (प्रेमाश्रुओं का) जल भर आया॥4॥
* तोर कोस गृह मोर सब सत्य बचन सुनु भ्रात।
भरत दसा सुमिरत मोहि निमिष कल्प सम जात॥116 क॥

(श्री रामजी ने कहा-) हे भाई! सुनो, तुम्हारा खजाना और घर सब मेरा ही है, यह सच बात है। पर भरत की दशा याद करके मुझे एक-एक पल कल्प के समान बीत रहा है॥116 क॥
तापस बेष गात कृस जपत निरंतर मोहि।
देखौं बेगि सो जतनु करु सखा निहोरउँ तोहि॥116 ख॥
…Living as a hermit, he ceaselessly chants my name, his body weakened by austerity. Therefore, please make arrangements for me to see my brother at the earliest, my dear friend, I earnestly implore you…
तपस्वी के वेष में कृश (दुबले) शरीर से निरंतर मेरा नाम जप कर रहे हैं। हे सखा! वही उपाय करो जिससे मैं जल्दी से जल्दी उन्हें देख सकूँ। मैं तुमसे निहोरा (अनुरोध) करता हूँ॥116 ख॥
बीतें अवधि जाउँ जौं जिअत न पावउँ बीर।
सुमिरत अनुज प्रीति प्रभु पुनि पुनि पुलक सरीर॥116 ग॥
…If I reach Ayodhya only after my exile is complete, I fear I may not find my brother alive.” Recalling the depth of His younger brother’s love, Lord Ram was overwhelmed with affection, His body again and again thrilling with emotion.
यदि अवधि बीत जाने पर जाता हूँ तो भाई को जीता न पाऊँगा। छोटे भाई भरतजी की प्रीति का स्मरण करके प्रभु का शरीर बार-बार पुलकित हो रहा है॥166 ग॥
करेहु कल्प भरि राजु तुम्ह मोहि सुमिरेहु मन माहिं।
पुनि मम धाम पाइहहु जहाँ संत सब जाहिं॥116 घ॥
Shri Ram said, “You shall rule the Kingdom of Lanka until the end of the aeon, keeping your mind constantly absorbed in me. Thereafter, you will attain my abode, the supreme destination reached by all saintly souls.”
(श्री रामजी ने फिर कहा-) हे विभीषण! तुम कल्पभर राज्य करना, मन में मेरा निरंतर स्मरण करते रहना। फिर तुम मेरे उस धाम को पा जाओगे, जहाँ सब संत जाते हैं॥116 घ॥
* सुनत बिभीषन बचन राम के। हरषि गहे पद कृपाधाम के॥
बानर भालु सकल हरषाने। गहि प्रभु पद गुन बिमल बखाने॥1॥
Hearing Shri Ram’s words, Vibhishan was filled with joy and clasped the Lord’s blissful feet, while the monkeys and bears also rejoiced, holding Shri Ram’s feet and joyfully recounting His sacred virtues.
श्री रामचंद्रजी के वचन सुनते ही विभीषणजी ने हर्षित होकर कृपा के धाम श्री रामजी के चरण पकड़ लिए। सभी वानर-भालू हर्षित हो गए और प्रभु के चरण पकड़कर उनके निर्मल गुणों का बखान करने लगे॥1॥
बहुरि विभीषन भवन सिधायो। मनि गन बसन बिमान भरायो॥
लै पुष्पक प्रभु आगें राखा। हँसि करि कृपासिंधु तब भाषा॥2॥
Then Vibhishan went to his palace and loaded his aerial vehicle (Pushpak viman) with precious jewels and fine garments. He brought the Pushpak and set it down before the Lord, whereupon the all-merciful Shri Ram smiled and said,…
फिर विभीषणजी महल को गए और उन्होंने मणियों के समूहों (रत्नों) से और वस्त्रों से विमान को भर लिया। फिर उस पुष्पक विमान को लाकर प्रभु के सामने रखा। तब कृपासागर श्री रामजी ने हँसकर कहा-॥2॥
चढ़ि बिमान सुनु सखा बिभीषन। गगन जाइ बरषहु पट भूषन॥
नभ पर जाइ बिभीषन तबही। बरषि दिए मनि अंबर सबही॥3॥
…“Listen, my friend Vibhishan, ascend your aerial chariot, lift it into the sky, and shower garments and jewels below.” Vibhishan at once obeyed the Lord’s command, raising the Pushpak into the air and raining down clothes and precious gems from the sky.
हे सखा विभीषण! सुनो, विमान पर चढ़कर, आकाश में जाकर वस्त्रों और गहनों को बरसा दो। तब (आज्ञा सुनते) ही विभीषणजी ने आकाश में जाकर सब मणियों और वस्त्रों को बरसा दिया॥3॥
जोइ जोइ मन भावइ सोइ लेहीं। मनि मुख मेलि डारि कपि देहीं॥
हँसे रामु श्री अनुज समेता। परम कौतुकी कृपा निकेता॥4॥
The monkeys and bears on the ground picked up whatever caught their fancy. Mistaking the precious stones and gems for food, they put them in their mouths, only to spit them out the moment they realized their error. Witnessing this scene, the abode of grace, the supremely playful Lord Ram, laughed heartily, along with Sita ji and His younger brother, Shri Lakshman.
जिसके मन को जो अच्छा लगता है, वह वही ले लेता है। मणियों को मुँह में लेकर वानर फिर उन्हें खाने की चीज न समझकर उगल देते हैं। यह तमाशा देखकर परम विनोदी और कृपा के धाम श्री रामजी, सीताजी और लक्ष्मणजी सहित हँसने लगे॥4॥
* मुनि जेहि ध्यान न पावहिं नेति नेति कह बेद।
कृपासिंधु सोइ कपिन्ह सन करत अनेक बिनोद॥117 क॥
The ocean of compassion, whom even the most enlightened Saints find difficult to grasp in meditation, and describe as infinite and immeasurable, delighted in playful humour and joy with the monkeys.
जिनको मुनि ध्यान में भी नहीं पाते, जिन्हें वेद नेति-नेति कहते हैं, वे ही कृपा के समुद्र श्री रामजी वानरों के साथ अनेकों प्रकार के विनोद कर रहे हैं॥117 क॥
उमा जोग जप दान तप नाना मख ब्रत नेम।
राम कृपा नहिं करहिं तसि जसि निष्केवल प्रेम॥117 ख॥
Lord Shiv tells Parvati ji, “Countless practices such as yoga, chanting, charity, penance, sacrificial rites, fasting, and many kinds of religious observances cannot invoke Lord Ram’s grace to the same extent as pure, unalloyed devotion does.”
(शिवजी कहते हैं-) हे उमा! अनेकों प्रकार के योग, जप, दान, तप, यज्ञ, व्रत और नियम करने पर भी श्री रामचंद्रजी वैसी कृपा नहीं करते जैसी अनन्य प्रेम होने पर करते हैं॥117 ख॥
भालु कपिन्ह पट भूषन पाए। पहिरि पहिरि रघुपति पहिं आए॥
नाना जिनस देखि सब कीसा। पुनि पुनि हँसत कोसलाधीसा॥1॥
After receiving the clothes and ornaments, the bears and monkeys adorned themselves and came before Lord Raghupati. Seeing the many different kinds of monkeys, the Lord of Koshal smiled and laughed again and again.
भालुओं और वानरों ने कपड़े-गहने पाए और उन्हें पहन-पहनकर वे श्री रघुनाथजी के पास आए। अनेकों जातियों के वानरों को देखकर कोसलपति श्री रामजी बार-बार हँस रहे हैं॥1॥
चितइ सबन्हि पर कीन्ही दाया। बोले मृदुल बचन रघुराया॥
तुम्हरें बल मैं रावनु मार्यो। तिलक बिभीषन कहँ पुनि सार्यो॥2॥

श्री रघुनाथजी ने कृपा दृष्टि से देखकर सब पर दया की। फिर वे कोमल वचन बोले- हे भाइयो! तुम्हारे ही बल से मैंने रावण को मारा और फिर विभीषण का राजतिलक किया॥2॥
निज निज गृह अब तुम्ह सब जाहू। सुमिरेहु मोहि डरपहु जनि काहू॥
सुनत बचन प्रेमाकुल बानर। जोरि पानि बोले सब सादर॥3॥

अब तुम सब अपने-अपने घर जाओ। मेरा स्मरण करते रहना और किसी से डरना नहीं। ये वचन सुनते ही सब वानर प्रेम में विह्वल होकर हाथ जोड़कर आदरपूर्वक बोले-॥3॥
प्रभु जोइ कहहु तुम्हहि सब सोहा। हमरें होत बचन सुनि मोहा॥
दीन जानि कपि किए सनाथा। तुम्ह त्रैलोक ईस रघुनाथा॥4॥
…“O’ Lord, whatever You say befits You perfectly, yet upon hearing Your words, our hearts are filled with loving wonder. O’ Raghunath, You are the Lord of all three worlds, knowing us monkeys to be humble and helpless, You have graciously made us fulfilled and protected by granting us Your shelter…
प्रभो! आप जो कुछ भी कहें, आपको सब सोहता है। पर आपके वचन सुनकर हमको मोह होता है। हे रघुनाथजी! आप तीनों लोकों के ईश्वर हैं। हम वानरों को दीन जानकर ही आपने सनाथ (कृतार्थ) किया है॥4॥
सुनि प्रभु बचन लाज हम मरहीं। मसक कहूँ खगपति हित करहीं॥
देखि राम रुख बानर रीछा। प्रेम मगन नहिं गृह कै ईछा॥5॥
…Hearing such words from the Lord, we are overcome with deep embarrassment, as though we might perish from it, can a mere mosquito ever be of service to the king of birds?” Seeing Shri Ram’s gracious intent, the bears and monkeys became utterly absorbed in love, and no desire remained in their hearts to return home.
प्रभु के (ऐसे) वचन सुनकर हम लाज के मारे मरे जा रहे हैं। कहीं मच्छर भी गरुड़ का हित कर सकते हैं? श्री रामजी का रुख देखकर रीछ-वानर प्रेम में मग्न हो गए। उनकी घर जाने की इच्छा नहीं है॥5॥
* प्रभु प्रेरित कपि भालु सब राम रूप उर राखि।
हरष बिषाद सहित चले बिनय बिबिध बिधि भाषि॥118 क॥
Inspired by the Lord, all the monkeys and bears enshrined His divine image within their hearts and then departed. Their minds were filled with a tender blend of joy and sorrow as they offered humble supplications to Shri Ram in many heartfelt ways.
परन्तु प्रभु की प्रेरणा (आज्ञा) से सब वानर-भालू श्री रामजी के रूप को हृदय में रखकर और अनेकों प्रकार से विनती करके हर्ष और विषाद सहित घर को चले॥118 क॥
कपिपति नील रीछपति अंगद नल हनुमान।

वानरराज सुग्रीव, नील, ऋक्षराज जाम्बवान्, अंगद, नल और हनुमान् तथा विभीषण सहित और जो बलवान् वानर सेनापति हैं,॥118 ख॥
कहि न सकहिं कछु प्रेम बस भरि भरि लोचन बारि॥
सन्मुख चितवहिं राम तन नयन निमेष निवारि॥118 ग॥
…were so overcome with emotion that they could not speak. With eyes brimming with tears of love, they gazed upon Lord Ram’s divine form, unable to blink.
वे कुछ कह नहीं सकते, प्रेमवश नेत्रों में जल भर-भरकर, नेत्रों का पलक मारना छोड़कर (टकटकी लगाए) सम्मुख होकर श्री रामजी की ओर देख रहे हैं॥118 ग॥
* अतिसय प्रीति देखि रघुराई। लीन्हे सकल बिमान चढ़ाई॥
मन महुँ बिप्र चरन सिरु नायो। उत्तर दिसिहि बिमान चलायो॥1॥
Perceiving their overwhelming love, Shri Raghuveer, took them all aboard the Pushpak plane, along with Sita ji and Lakshman ji. With deep reverence, He bowed in His heart at the feet of the Brahmins and then directed the plane to fly northward.
श्री रघुनाथजी ने उनका अतिशय प्रेम देखकर सबको विमान पर चढ़ा लिया। तदनन्तर मन ही मन विप्रचरणों में सिर नवाकर उत्तर दिशा की ओर विमान चलाया॥1॥
चलत बिमान कोलाहल होई। जय रघुबीर कहइ सबु कोई॥
सिंहासन अति उच्च मनोहर। श्री समेत प्रभु बैठे ता पर॥2॥
As the plane took off, a loud uproar filled the air as everyone joyfully cried out, “Glory to Shri Raghuveer!” The plane bore a most charming and elevated throne, upon which Lord Ram took His seat beside Sita ji.
विमान के चलते समय बड़ा शोर हो रहा है। सब कोई श्री रघुवीर की जय कह रहे हैं। विमान में एक अत्यंत ऊँचा मनोहर सिंहासन है। उस पर सीताजी सहित प्रभु श्री रामचंद्रजी विराजमान हो गए॥2॥
राजत रामु सहित भामिनी। मेरु सृंग जनु घन दामिनी॥
रुचिर बिमानु चलेउ अति आतुर। कीन्ही सुमन बृष्टि हरषे सुर॥3॥
Lord Ram shone forth with His wife like a rain-filled cloud adorned with lightning upon the peak of Mount Meru. The charming plane flew swiftly through the sky, while the Demigods joyfully showered flowers upon it.
पत्नी सहित श्री रामजी ऐसे सुशोभित हो रहे हैं मानो सुमेरु के शिखर पर बिजली सहित श्याम मेघ हो। सुंदर विमान बड़ी शीघ्रता से चला। देवता हर्षित हुए और उन्होंने फूलों की वर्षा की॥3॥
परम सुखद चलि त्रिबिध बयारी। सागर सर सरि निर्मल बारी॥
सगुन होहिं सुंदर चहुँ पासा। मन प्रसन्न निर्मल नभ आसा॥4॥
A most delightful blend of three kinds of cool, gentle, and fragrant breezes began to blow. The waters of the ocean, lakes, and rivers became crystal clear, auspicious omens appeared all around, everyone’s hearts were filled with joy, and the sky, along with all the directions, grew serene and radiant.
अत्यंत सुख देने वाली तीन प्रकार की (शीतल, मंद, सुगंधित) वायु चलने लगी। समुद्र, तालाब और नदियों का जल निर्मल हो गया। चारों ओर सुंदर शकुन होने लगे। सबके मन प्रसन्न हैं, आकाश और दिशाएँ निर्मल हैं॥4॥
