Hindi Meaning
"वानरों ने क्रोध करके दुर्गम किले को घेर लिया। नगर में बहुत ही कोलाहल (शोर) मच गया। राक्षस बहुत तरह के अस्त्र-शस्त्र धारण करके दौड़े और उन्होंने किले पर पहाड़ों के शिखर ढहाए॥5॥"
English Meaning
"In their fury, the monkey army laid siege to the mighty fort. A great outcry rose throughout the city of Lanka. The demons rushed out, carrying various weapons, and hurled mountain peaks from the top of the fort."
