"आदिकवि श्री वाल्मीकिजी रामनाम के प्रताप को जानते हैं, जो उल्टा नाम (‘मरा’, ‘मरा’) जपकर पवित्र हो गए। श्री शिवजी के इस वचन को सुनकर कि एक राम-नाम सहस्र नाम के समान है, पार्वतीजी सदा अपने पति (श्री शिवजी) के साथ राम-नाम का जप करती रहती हैं॥3॥"

"The ancient poet Valmiki ji, one of the most revered sages, experienced the profound transformative power of Lord Ram’s name. Initially, he unknowingly chanted the name in reverse (MRA meaning “death”), but even this reversed utterance carried the divine potency of Lord Ram’s name and purified his soul, transforming him into a pious and enlightened being. Lord Shiv once revealed to Parvati ji the incomparable greatness of Lord Ram’s name, explaining that chanting it just once is equivalent to reciting a thousand names of Lord Vishnu. Deeply moved, Parvati ji joined Shiv ji in continuously chanting Lord Ram’s name, immersing Herself in its boundless divine grace."
