"यदि विधाता कल मेरा मनोरथ पूरा कर दें तो हे सखी! मैं तुझे आँखों की पुतली बना लूँ। इस प्रकार दासी को बहुत तरह से आदर देकर कैकेयी कोपभवन में चली गई॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…If the Creator grants my heart’s desire tomorrow, O’ Friend, I will cherish you like the apple of my eye.” Honouring the maidservant in every possible way, Queen Kaikeyi then made her way to the sulking chamber."
