Hindi Meaning
"घरों में मणियों के दीपक शोभा दे रहे हैं। मूँगों की बनी हुई देहलियाँ चमक रही हैं। मणियों (रत्नों) के खम्भे हैं। मरकतमणियों (पन्नों) से जड़ी हुई सोने की दीवारें ऐसी सुंदर हैं मानो ब्रह्मा ने खास तौर से बनाई हों। महल सुंदर, मनोहर और विशाल हैं। उनमें सुंदर स्फटिक के आँगन बने हैं। प्रत्येक द्वार पर बहुत से खरादे हुए हीरों से जड़े हुए सोने के किंवाड़ हैं॥"
English Meaning
"The mansions were illuminated by jewels that served as lamps and featured radiant thresholds fashioned of coral. Pillars were studded with gems, and walls of gold were inlaid with emeralds, as though crafted by Lord Brahma Himself. The vast palaces were enchanting and pleasing to the heart, with courtyards of crystal stone, and each gateway was adorned with doors of gold embossed with diamonds."
