"हे पक्षीराज गरुड़जी! सुनिए, ऐसी बात समझकर बुद्धिमान, लोग अधम (नीच) का संग नहीं करते। कवि और पंडित ऐसी नीति कहते हैं कि दुष्ट से न कलह ही अच्छा है, न प्रेम ही॥7॥"
