Hindi Meaning
"जिनकी गुरु के चरणों में प्रीति है, जो नीतिपरायण हैं और ब्राह्मणों के सेवक हैं, वे ही इसके अधिकारी हैं और उसको तो यह कथा बहुत ही सुख देने वाली है, जिसको श्री रघुनाथजी प्राण के समान प्यारे हैं॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…He alone is truly qualified to hear this sacred narrative who is devoted to the lotus feet of his Guru, walks steadfastly upon the path of righteousness, and renders service to the Brahmins. Shri Ramcharitmanas brings special delight to those for whom Goddess Sita and Lord Raghunath are dearer than life itself…"
