"फिर मंत्री सुमंत्रजी का नगर में लौटना, राजा दशरथजी का मरण, भरतजी का (ननिहाल से) अयोध्या में आना और उनके प्रेम का बहुत वर्णन किया। राजा की अन्त्येष्टि क्रिया करके नगर निवासियों को साथ लेकर भरतजी वहाँ गए जहाँ सुख की राशि प्रभु श्री रामचंद्रजी थे॥3॥"

"He then recounted Minister Sumantra’s return to the capital and the passing of King Dashrath, followed by Bharat ji’s arrival in Ayodhya from his maternal grandparents’ home. He spoke of Bharat ji’s deep love for Shri Ram and described the performance of the King’s last rites. He then narrated how Bharat ji, accompanied by the citizens, set out for Chitrakoot to bring back Shri Ram, the source of all joy."
