"श्री राम का वनगमन, केवट का प्रेम, गंगाजी से पार उतरकर प्रयाग में निवास, वाल्मीकिजी और प्रभु श्री रामजी का मिलन और जैसे भगवान् चित्रकूट में बसे, वह सब कहा॥2॥"
English Meaning
"He further described Lord Ram’s journey to the forest, the deep affection shown by the boatman Kevat, the crossing of the sacred river Ganga, and their stay at holy Prayag. He then spoke of Lord Ram’s meeting with Sage Valmiki and how, after their conversation, the Lord chose Chitrakoot as His abode."
