धन्य सो भूपु नीति जो करई। धन्य सो द्विज निज धर्म न टरई॥3॥

Hindi Meaning
"वह देश धन्य है, जहाँ श्री गंगाजी हैं, वह स्त्री धन्य है जो पातिव्रत धर्म का पालन करती है। वह राजा धन्य है जो न्याय करता है और वह ब्राह्मण धन्य है जो अपने धर्म से नहीं डिगता है॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…Blessed is the land through which the sacred river Ganga flows. Blessed is the woman who remains faithful to her husband, firm in her vow of fidelity. Blessed is the King who governs with justice. Blessed is the Brahmin who stands steadfast in the faithful observance of dharma and righteousness…"
