नीति निपुन सोइ परम सयाना। श्रुति सिद्धांत नीक तेहिं जाना॥
सोइ कबि कोबिद सोइ रनधीरा। जो छल छाड़ि भजइ रघुबीरा॥2॥

Hindi Meaning
"जो छल छो़ड़कर श्री रघुवीर का भजन करता है, वही नीति में निपुण है, वही परम् बुद्धिमान है। उसी ने वेदों के सिद्धांत को भली-भाँति जाना है। वही कवि, वही विद्वान् तथा वही रणधीर है॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…He alone is well-versed in right conduct, keen in intellect, a knower of the highest truth of the Vedas, a poet and a scholar, steadfast even in battle, who worships Lord Raghuveer after casting aside all deceit…"
