"जो पारसमणि को खोकर बदले में घुँघची ले लेता है, उसको कभी कोई भला (बुद्धिमान) नहीं कहता। यह अविनाशी जीव (अण्डज, स्वेदज, जरायुज और उद्भिज्ज) चार खानों और चौरासी लाख योनियों में चक्कर लगाता रहता है॥2॥"

"…No one would speak well of a person who casts aside a stone that turns iron into gold at a mere touch in exchange for an ordinary rosary bead. The eternal living entity passes through 8.4 million species of life, broadly classified into four categories: those born from eggs, from sweat, from the womb, and from the Earth…"
