"अब असंतों दुष्टों का स्वभाव सुनो, कभी भूलकर भी उनकी संगति नहीं करनी चाहिए। उनका संग सदा दुःख देने वाला होता है। जैसे हरहाई (बुरी जाति की) गाय कपिला (सीधी और दुधार) गाय को अपने संग से नष्ट कर डालती है॥1॥"

"…Now, listen to the traits of the wicked. It is best to avoid any association with such people, even if you come across them unknowingly, as their company always brings sorrow. Just as an inferior cow can ruin a fine Kapila breed cow by being in its company, so do the wicked corrupt those around them…"
