Hindi Meaning
"यह सुनकर लक्ष्मणजी ने सबको निकट बुलाया। उन्हें बड़ी दया लगी, इससे हँसकर उन्होंने राक्षसों को तुरंत ही छुड़ा दिया। (और उनसे कहा-) रावण के हाथ में यह चिट्ठी देना (और कहना-) हे कुलघातक! लक्ष्मण के शब्दों (संदेसे) को बाँचो॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Hearing their plea, Shri Lakshman called them near. Touched by compassion, he laughed at their clever words and at once ordered their release. Then, Lakshman ji said, “Take this letter to Ravan, and instruct that destroyer of the demon race to read aloud the words of Lakshman…"
