"यदि मैं आज उसे बिना मारे आऊँ, तो श्री रघुनाथजी का सेवक न कहलाऊँ। यदि सैकड़ों शंकर भी उसकी सहायता करें तो भी श्री रघुवीर की दुहाई है, आज मैं उसे मार ही डालूँगा॥7॥"
English Meaning
"…”If I return today without slaying Meghnad, then I shall no longer call myself a servant of Raghupati. Even if hundreds of Lord Shankars come to his aid, I will yet kill him. I swear upon Shri Raghuveer.”"
