Hindi Meaning
"हे नाथ! विधाता की सारी सृष्टि तुम्हारे वश में थी। लोकपाल सदा भयभीत होकर तुमको मस्तक नवाते थे, किन्तु हाय! अब तुम्हारे सिर और भुजाओं को गीदड़ खा रहे हैं। राम विमुख के लिए ऐसा होना अनुचित भी नहीं है (अर्थात् उचित ही है)॥6॥"
English Meaning
"…O’ Lord, the mighty creation of Lord Brahma lay under your command, and the Guardians of all ten directions trembled before you, bowing their heads in fear each day, yet now your severed heads and arms are being devoured by jackals, and yet this fate is not unfitting for one who stood in hostility toward Shri Ram."
