"बाण लगते ही वीर चीत्कार कर उठते हैं और चक्कर खा-खाकर जहाँ-तहाँ पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़ते हैं। उनके शरीर से ऐसे खून बह रहा है मानो पर्वत के भारी झरनों से जल बह रहा हो। इस प्रकार डरपोकों को भय उत्पन्न करने वाली रुधिर की नदी बह चली॥5॥"
