"यह समाचार जब रावण ने सुना, तब उसने अत्यंत विषाद से बार-बार सिर पीटा। वह व्याकुल होकर कुंभकर्ण के पास गया और बहुत से उपाय करके उसने उसको जगाया॥3॥"
English Meaning
"When Ravan heard this news, he was overwhelmed with sorrow and struck his own head again and again in despair. Distressed and anxious, he went to his younger brother Kumbhkaran and, after many attempts and methods, finally succeeded in waking him."
