Hindi Meaning
"(वे कहने लगे-) यह राक्षस दुर्भिक्ष के समान है, जो अब वानर कुल रूपी देश में पड़ना चाहता है। हे कृपा रूपी जल के धारण करने वाले मेघ रूप श्री राम! हे खर के शत्रु! हे शरणागत के दुःख हरने वाले! रक्षा कीजिए, रक्षा कीजिए!॥2॥"
English Meaning
"They cried, “This demon is like a famine, determined to devastate the land in the form of the monkey race. Therefore, O’ Enemy of the Khar demon, Shri Ram, O’ Cloud laden with the water of compassion, O’ Reliever of the suppliant’s agony, save us, protect us.”"
