Hindi Meaning
"रावण ने उसको सारा मर्म (हाल) बतलाया। कालनेमि ने सुना और बार-बार सिर पीटा (खेद प्रकट किया)। (उसने कहा-) तुम्हारे देखते-देखते जिसने नगर जला डाला, उसका मार्ग कौन रोक सकता है?॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Ravan told him the entire incident, and hearing it, Kalnemi struck his own head in distress. He said, “The one who burned your city before your very eyes, who can possibly obstruct his path?…"
