"भावार्थ : ये सभी मूर्ख (खुशामदी) मन्त्र ठकुरसुहाती (मुँहदेखी) कह रहे हैं। हे नाथ! इस प्रकार की बातों से पूरा नहीं पड़ेगा। एक ही बंदर समुद्र लाँघकर आया था। उसका चरित्र सब लोग अब भी मन-ही-मन गाया करते हैं (स्मरण किया करते हैं) ॥1॥"

"…These foolish Ministers merely flatter you, speaking only what they think will please your ears. My Lord, their words will bring you no good. A single monkey leapt across the vast ocean and reached Lanka, and to this day, people everywhere recall and sing of his heroic deeds in their hearts…"
