Hindi Meaning
"रावण ने उनको ज्ञान का उपदेश किया। वह स्वयं तो नीच है, पर उसकी कथा (बातें) शुभ और पवित्र हैं। दूसरों को उपदेश देने में तो बहुत लोग निपुण होते हैं। पर ऐसे लोग अधिक नहीं हैं, जो उपदेश के अनुसार आचरण भी करते हैं॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Ravan then lectured them on spiritual knowledge; though he was dull-witted, the stories he narrated were sacred and pure, for the world is filled with those who can preach well, yet those who truly live by what they teach are exceedingly rare."
