"वानरों ने जाकर देखा कि वह बैठा हुआ खून और भैंसे की आहुति दे रहा है। वानरों ने सब यज्ञ विध्वंस कर दिया। फिर भी वह नहीं उठा, तब वे उसकी प्रशंसा करने लगे॥1॥"
English Meaning
"The monkeys went and saw him seated, offering blood and buffalo oblations into the fire. They destroyed the entire ritual, yet he did not rise, so they began to praise him instead."
