* परिहरि बयरु देहु बैदेही। भजहु कृपानिधि परम सनेही॥
ताके बचन बान सम लागे। करिआ मुँह करि जाहि अभागे॥1॥

Hindi Meaning
"(अतः) वैर छोड़कर उन्हें जानकीजी को दे दो और कृपानिधान परम स्नेही श्री रामजी का भजन करो। रावण को उसके वचन बाण के समान लगे। (वह बोला-) अरे अभागे! मुँह काला करके (यहाँ से) निकल जा॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…Therefore, give up this enmity, return Videhi ji to Him, and worship the mine of mercy, who is endlessly loving toward His devotees.” Malyavan’s words pierced Ravan like arrows, and Ravan shouted, “O’ Worthless one, blacken your face and get out of here…"
