श्री सीता-राम विवाह, विदाई – The wedding of Shri Ram and Sita ji and their departure

"मानो कमल को लाल पराग से अच्छी तरह भरकर अमृत के लोभ से साँप चन्द्रमा को भूषित कर रहा है। (यहाँ श्री राम के हाथ को कमल की, सेंदूर को पराग की, श्री राम की श्याम भुजा को साँप की और सीताजी के मुख को चन्द्रमा की उपमा दी गई है।) फिर वशिष्ठजी ने आज्ञा दी, तब दूलह और दुलहिन एक आसन पर बैठे॥5॥"

"It appears as though a serpent is holding a lotus and offering vermilion from its petals to the beautiful Moon, yearning to receive nectar in return. Here, Lord Shri Ram’s blue arm is like a serpent, His hand is like a lotus, the five pink fingers of His hand are like lotus petals, the vermilion held between His fingers is like pollen, and Mother Sita’s face is the Moon, with her beauty being the nectar. Thereafter, under the guidance of Guru Vashishth, the Bride and Groom sat together upon the same divine seat."
