Hindi Meaning
"धुआँ भी अगर के संग से सुगंधित होकर अपने स्वाभाविक कड़ुवेपन को छोड़ देता है। मेरी कविता अवश्य भद्दी है, परन्तु इसमें जगत का कल्याण करने वाली रामकथा रूपी उत्तम वस्तु का वर्णन किया गया है। (इससे यह भी अच्छी ही समझी जाएगी।)॥5॥"
English Meaning
"Just as smoke sheds its natural bitterness and becomes fragrant in the company of aloe wood, similarly, though my poetry is unrefined, it describes something truly beautiful, the glory of Lord Ram. This tale of Lord Ram will bring auspiciousness to the entire world."
