Hindi Meaning
"जहाँ जनकजी का अत्यन्त अनुपम (सुंदर) निवास स्थान (महल) है, वहाँ के विलास (ऐश्वर्य) को देखकर देवता भी थकित (स्तम्भित) हो जाते हैं (मनुष्यों की तो बात ही क्या!)। कोट (राजमहल के परकोटे) को देखकर चित्त चकित हो जाता है, (ऐसा मालूम होता है) मानो उसने समस्त लोकों की शोभा को रोक (घेर) रखा है॥4॥"
English Meaning
"King Janak’s magnificent palace stood in unparalleled splendour, so breathtaking that even the Demigods would be left astonished. Its grand parapets inspired awe in all who beheld them, as if the palace had gathered the beauty of all fourteen regions of the cosmos within its walls."
