रामरूप से जीवमात्र की वंदना – Salutations to all living beings

"मैं श्री रघुनाथजी के गुणों का वर्णन करना चाहता हूँ, परन्तु मेरी बुद्धि छोटी है और श्री रामजी का चरित्र अथाह है। इसके लिए मुझे उपाय का एक भी अंग अर्थात्‌ कुछ (लेशमात्र) भी उपाय नहीं सूझता। मेरे मन और बुद्धि कंगाल हैं, किन्तु मनोरथ राजा है॥3॥"

"I wish to sing of the virtues of Lord Ram, the King of the Raghu dynasty, but my intellect is limited, while His character is vast and profound, like an ocean. I have neither the smallest idea nor the faintest clue where to begin. My mind and intellect are like a pauper, yet my desire is grand, like that of a king, yearning to recount the glorious tales of Shri Ram."
