Hindi Meaning
"सब लोक कामान्ध होकर व्याकुल हो गए। चकवा-चकवी रात-दिन नहीं देखते। देव, दैत्य, मनुष्य, किन्नर, सर्प, प्रेत, पिशाच, भूत, बेताल-॥3॥"
English Meaning
"All the worlds were blinded by lust and grew restless. The Chakwas (Brahmini ducks, which rejoice at sunrise and grieve at moonrise) lost all sense of day and night. Demigods, demons, humans, kinnars, serpents, spirits, ghosts, fiends, vampires, and all other beings…"
