Hindi Meaning
"सूर्यवंश के पताका स्वरूप दशरथजी को आते हुए जानकर जनकजी ने नदियों पर पुल बँधवा दिए। बीच-बीच में ठहरने के लिए सुंदर घर (पड़ाव) बनवा दिए, जिनमें देवलोक के समान सम्पदा छाई है,॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Upon learning that King Dashrath, the illustrious Chief of the Solar dynasty, was on his way to Janakpur, King Janak had bridges constructed over all the rivers en route. Elegant rest houses were built at several points along the journey, each radiating a splendour comparable to that of Lord Indra’s celestial city, Amravati."
