Hindi Meaning
"अवधपुरी इस प्रकार सुशोभित हो रही है, मानो रात्रि प्रभु से मिलने आई हो और सूर्य को देखकर मानो मन में सकुचा गई हो, परन्तु फिर भी मन में विचार कर वह मानो संध्या बन (कर रह) गई हो॥2॥"
English Meaning
"The city of Ayodhya glowed as if the Night had come to meet the Lord. Upon seeing the Sun, her divine consort, she seemed to blush with shyness and, after contemplating in her heart, transformed herself into a gentle twilight."
