Hindi Meaning
"वैदिक और लौकिक सब रीतियाँ करके जनकजी और दशरथजी बड़े प्रेम से मिले। दोनों महाराज मिलते हुए बड़े ही शोभित हुए, कवि उनके लिए उपमा खोज-खोजकर लजा गए॥1॥"
English Meaning
"After fulfilling all the Vedic rites and family traditions, Dashrath ji and Janak ji met each other with deep affection. The way these two noble Kings embraced, so full of grace and grandeur, left even the most gifted poets at a loss for words. Despite many attempts, they (or the poets) could not find a fitting comparison, and humbled by their own inadequacy, they felt ashamed."
