"उन्होंने जानकीजी को बहुत ही विकल देखा। उनका एक-एक क्षण कल्प के समान बीत रहा था। यदि प्यासा आदमी पानी के बिना शरीर छोड़ दे, तो उसके मर जाने पर अमृत का तालाब भी क्या करेगा?॥1॥"
English Meaning
"He saw that Janaki ji was deeply anxious, each moment felt to Her as long as an entire age of the Universe. For one dying of thirst, what use is a lake of nectar if it appears only after life has slipped away?"
