जनक जी की निराशाजनक वाणी, श्री लक्ष्मण जी का क्रोध, विश्वामित्रजी का राम जी को धनुष तोड़ोने के लिये बोलना – King Janak’s disappointment, Shri Lakshman’s anger, Guru ji instructs Ram ji to break the bow

"तब दस हजार राजा एक ही बार धनुष को उठाने लगे, तो भी वह उनके टाले नहीं टलता। शिवजी का वह धनुष कैसे नहीं डिगता था, जैसे कामी पुरुष के वचनों से सती का मन (कभी) चलायमान नहीं होता॥1॥"

"Ten thousand mighty kings tried to lift the bow together, but they couldn’t move it even slightly. Lord Shiv’s bow remained unmoved, just like the mind of a virtuous woman stays steadfast, unaffected by the temptations of a lustful man."
