Hindi Meaning
"ऐसा कहकर सब ब्राह्मण चले गए। नगरवासियों ने (जब) यह समाचार पाया, तो वे चिन्ता करने और विधाता को दोष देने लगे, जिसने हंस बनाते-बनाते कौआ कर दिया (ऐसे पुण्यात्मा राजा को देवता बनाना चाहिए था, सो राक्षस बना दिया)॥1॥"
English Meaning
"After saying this, the Brahmins departed. When the news spread among the citizens, they were filled with worry and began blaming the Creator. They lamented, “You intended to create a swan but brought forth a crow (our King was destined to be a Demigod, yet fate has turned him into a demon.)”"
