"भरतजी ने प्रणाम करके विदा माँगी, तब श्री रामचंद्रजी ने उन्हें हृदय से लगा लिया। इधर कुटिल इंद्र ने बुरा मौका पाकर लोगों का उच्चाटन कर दिया॥316॥"
English Meaning
"Bharat ji bowed with humility, offering his respects and seeking Shri Ram’s permission to take leave. Shri Ram embraced him with deep affection. At that sorrowful moment, the wily Lord of Heaven, Indra, cast his illusion to unsettle the hearts and minds of all who were present."
