Hindi Meaning
"नहीं तो हे नाथ! कुशल-क्षेम तो सब कोसलनाथ दशरथजी के साथ ही चली गई। (उनके चले जाने से) यों तो सारा जगत ही अनाथ (स्वामी के बिना असहाय) हो गया, किन्तु मिथिला और अवध तो विशेष रूप से अनाथ हो गया॥270॥"
English Meaning
"…Otherwise, with the passing of Dashrath ji, King of the Koshal Kingdom, we have lost all our well-being. Both Mithila and Ayodhya now stand without a leader, like orphans…"
