Hindi Meaning
"वे न तो घास चरते हैं, न पानी पीते हैं। केवल आँखों से जल बहा रहे हैं। श्री रामचन्द्रजी के घोड़ों को इस दशा में देखकर सब निषाद व्याकुल हो गए॥142॥"
English Meaning
"They refused to eat grass or drink water, shedding only silent tears from their eyes. Seeing the sorrow of Shri Raghuveer’s horses, all the Nishads were deeply moved and overcome with grief."
