Hindi Meaning
"घर श्मशान, कुटुम्बी भूत-प्रेत और पुत्र, हितैषी और मित्र मानो यमराज के दूत हैं। बगीचों में वृक्ष और बेलें कुम्हला रही हैं। नदी और तालाब ऐसे भयानक लगते हैं कि उनकी ओर देखा भी नहीं जाता॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Their homes seemed like cremation grounds, and their own family members appeared like wandering spirits. Children, well-wishers, and friends looked no different from messengers of death. The trees and creepers in the gardens had withered away, and the rivers and lakes had become so desolate, they were painful to behold."
