Hindi Meaning
"किन्तु आज मेरा ऐसा कहना भी अनुचित है। शोक और स्नेह में सयानापन (विवेक) कम हो जाता है (लोग कहेंगे कि मैं स्नेहवश भरत की बड़ाई कर रही हूँ)। कौसल्याजी की गंगाजी के समान पवित्र करने वाली वाणी सुनकर सब रानियाँ स्नेह के मारे विकल हो उठीं॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…I admit my words today may be untimely, but wisdom often falters in moments of sorrow and deep affection.” Hearing Kaushalya ji’s words, pure like the waters of the celestial river Ganga, all the Queens were overcome with love."
