Hindi Meaning
"हे रघुवंश के तिलक! वन बड़ा भाग्यवान है और यह अवध अभागा है, जिसे तुमने त्याग दिया। हे पुत्र! यदि मैं कहूँ कि मुझे भी साथ ले चलो तो तुम्हारे हृदय में संदेह होगा (कि माता इसी बहाने मुझे रोकना चाहती हैं)॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…The forest is truly fortunate, and Ayodhya most unfortunate, for it is being forsaken by You, the crown jewel of the Raghu clan. My Son, if I ask You to take me along with You, You may feel a doubt in Your heart, (thinking that Your Mother is using this as an excuse to keep You from going)…"
