"इस प्रकार सब दाह क्रिया की गई और सबने विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके तिलांजलि दी। फिर वेद, स्मृति और पुराण सबका मत निश्चय करके उसके अनुसार भरतजी ने पिता का दशगात्र विधान (दस दिनों के कृत्य) किया॥3॥"

"In this way, the entire funeral ceremony was solemnly concluded. Thereafter, everyone bathed as per the prescribed rites, and the ritual offerings of water and sesame seeds were made for the departed soul. Guided by the wisdom of the Smriti texts, the Vedas, and other sacred Scriptures, Bharat ji observed the ten-day mourning period with deep devotion, performing each ceremony with full adherence to the sacred traditions and religious duties."
