Hindi Meaning
"मन्थरा की बातें सुनने में तो कोमल हैं, पर परिणाम में कठोर (भयानक) हैं। मानो वह शहद में घोलकर जहर पिला रही हो। दासी कहती है- हे स्वामिनि! तुमने मुझको एक कथा कही थी, उसकी याद है कि नहीं?॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Manthara’s words sounded sweet, but their consequences were dreadful, as if she were offering honey laced with deadly poison. The maidservant said, “O’ Lady, do you not recall the incident you once shared with me?…"
