Hindi Meaning
"व्याकुल और दुःख से दीन हुए सुमंत्रजी सोचते हैं कि श्री रघुवीर के बिना जीना धिक्कार है। आखिर यह अधम शरीर रहेगा तो है ही नहीं। अभी श्री रामचन्द्रजी के बिछुड़ते ही छूटकर इसने यश (क्यों) नहीं ले लिया॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Agitated and overwhelmed by the sorrow of separation from Shri Raghuveer, Minister Sumantra lamented, “Life without Shri Raghuveer is a curse. This miserable body will wither away in vain. How unfortunate that it did not gain honour by dying at the very moment of parting from Him…"
