Hindi Meaning
"राजधर्म का सर्वस्व (सार) भी इतना ही है। जैसे मन के भीतर मनोरथ छिपा रहता है। श्री रघुनाथजी ने भाई भरत को बहुत प्रकार से समझाया, परन्तु कोई अवलम्बन पाए बिना उनके मन में न संतोष हुआ, न शान्ति॥1॥"
English Meaning
"The essence of a King’s responsibility is to keep royal duty as close to the heart as one keeps cherished desires hidden within. In this manner, Shri Ram offered many words of comfort to His brother. Yet, without receiving some concrete assurance, Bharat ji’s heart found neither contentment nor peace."
