Hindi Meaning
"भाई, मंत्री, गुरु और पुरवासियों को साथ लेकर श्री रघुनाथजी आगे (जनकजी की अगवानी में) चले। जनकजी ने ज्यों ही पर्वत श्रेष्ठ कामदनाथ को देखा, त्यों ही प्रणाम करके उन्होंने रथ छोड़ दिया। (पैदल चलना शुरू कर दिया)॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Shri Raghunath led the way, joined by His Brothers, Minister Sumantra, Guru Vashishth, and the citizens, as they proceeded to welcome King Janak. The moment King Janak beheld the majestic Kamadgiri mountain, he offered it reverent salutations, alighted from his chariot, and continued the journey on foot."
