Hindi Meaning
"पहले भरत की विनती आदरपूर्वक सुन लीजिए, फिर उस पर विचार कीजिए। तब साधुमत, लोकमत, राजनीति और वेदों का निचोड़ (सार) निकालकर वैसा ही (उसी के अनुसार) कीजिए॥258॥"
English Meaning
"…First, listen to Bharat’s plea with affection, and then reflect on it with thoughtful consideration. Thereafter, take the appropriate course of action, keeping in mind the wisdom of the Sages, the will of the people, political prudence, and the guidance of the Vedas and Scriptures.”"
