चरन देख रज आँखिन्ह लाई। बनइ न कहत प्रीति अधिकाई॥1॥

Hindi Meaning
"कुशों की सुंदर साथरी देखकर उसकी प्रदक्षिणा करके प्रणाम किया। श्री रामचन्द्रजी के चरण चिह्नों की रज आँखों में लगाई। (उस समय के) प्रेम की अधिकता कहते नहीं बनती॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Upon seeing the beautiful grass bed where Shri Ram had once rested, Bharat ji lovingly circumambulated it and offered his heartfelt obeisance. He gently placed the dust of Lord Ram’s footprints upon his eyes. The depth of love that overflowed in Bharat ji’s heart at that moment was beyond expression."
