Hindi Meaning
"सुमंत्र इस प्रकार मार्ग में पछतावा कर रहे थे, इतने में ही रथ तुरंत तमसा नदी के तट पर आ पहुँचा। मंत्री ने विनय करके चारों निषादों को विदा किया। वे विषाद से व्याकुल होते हुए सुमंत्र के पैरों पड़कर लौटे॥1॥"
English Meaning
"In this way, Sumantra ji continued lamenting along the journey. Meanwhile, his chariot swiftly reached the banks of the Tamsa River. With gentle words, he requested the Nishads to return to their homes. They bowed at his feet and departed, their hearts heavy with sorrow."
