Hindi Meaning
"सबका हित चाहने से क्या कभी दुःख हो सकता है? जिसके पास पारसमणि है, उसके पास क्या दरिद्रता रह सकती है? दूसरे से द्रोह करने वाले क्या निर्भय हो सकते हैं और कामी क्या कलंकरहित (बेदाग) रह सकते हैं?॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…Can there be any sorrow in sincerely desiring the welfare of all beings? Can one remain poor while holding the philosopher’s stone that turns iron into gold at a mere touch? Can a person who harbours hostility toward others ever be free from fear? And can one given to lust ever remain truly unblemished?…"
